OSG's Staywell Basics Curriculum assists
one to form a beneficial relationship with Gravity. It is a multilevel
educational process that teaches the principles of balance and movement
using the S.W.E.E.T.SM System. It
assists individuals to sense their interaction with Gravity and
develop movement strategies that make the most of this alliance.
As a result, one becomes increasingly secure, resourceful and energetic

EVERYDAY MOVEMENT
BASICS:
This is a five-part series that teaches the principles and movement
practices needed for basic movement comprehension. It addresses
the common motions used when sitting, standing, walking, and accomplishing
daily activities including reaching, bending, lifting, carrying
and climbing stairs. In Everyday Movement Basics you will experience
a favorable connection with Gravity and experience greater ease,

102 Sitting and Seating
Finally! Sitting still is OUT! In this class, another OSG
basic, you will learn the principles and techniques behind sitting
actively. You will discover how to sit in a state of dynamic equilibrium
supported, light, fluid and energized. You will survey a maze of
seat designs and learn to select a seat that matches your structure
and your task. You will begin to understand chair-ology the art
and science of sitting and seating.
